What is Before?

Before is a special piece that I wrote, mainly because I wanted to show off the Tailz character.  In my initial visions, I envisioned many eventful battles, Tailz and Cerberus attacking one another with a relative speed of the One from Matrix when compared to the combative abilities of their surroundings on Landing.

Not to mention swords and stuff.

I also had thoughts of a weird type of fighting combining swordplay and laser guns!  (Phasic energy weapons, as I call them).

But that’s another story.

As I wrote on, I realized how much more there was than fighting, the internal strife of the characters, the not-so-evil-maybe?-ness of Tailz… I got into writing it, and other than the playfighting of Xia and Fenix, there hasn’t been a true "BATTLE."  Ya know, good, evil.  etc.

So, enter prequel material.  A special piece I will not be putting into the novel, written solely for the enjoyment of myself and the Riddlers’ Lounge.  Read it while you can, because I’m pretty sure the stories posted on this blog won’t be around much after the book comes out
